Senior 2011 | Chanhassen Senior Photography

This time of year the trees are gorgeous but even more so at Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chanhassen. It was a perfect evening to meet Tyler and his family for senior photos. Tyler was so much fun to photograph. He had some great ideas of what he wanted and was a good sport about trying some of my ideas too. Not only did we get to walk around the beautiful arboretum, but we got some great shots of Tyler too.

On Sunday evening, I met up with a super fun 2011 senior for a great session. We did an late evening shoot, which is my favorite time as the sun creates a beautiful glow. "C" didn't need the sun to help her glow though, she looked gorgeous! We had a great time scouting locations, talking about her future and laughing. Thanks "C" for asking me to photograph your senior photos, I am honored!

Nick-Senior

Nick is going to be a senior this year at a local high school. I met up with him and his mom last weekend and we had a great time shooting his senior session. He enjoys tennis, soccer, and playing guitar so we incorporated some of those elements into his images. I hope he and his mom like them!

Tyler-Senior

Last weekend, I spent some time with Tyler who is going to be a senior this fall. Tyler is the oldest son of my cousin Jenny and her husband Fritz. I can't believe that Tyler is going to be a senior already. I may have to embarass him a bit and let all the readers know that I used to babysit him. Maybe that's admitting my age too much! I really enjoyed getting to know Tyler better, learning more about his asperations, hobbies, intrests, etc. He is a bright kid with awesome goals for his future. He will go far! Good luck this next year and beyond Tyler, and thanks for asking me to capture your senior pictures.

Kristy-Senior

On a warm Sunday afternoon, I met up with Kristy and her Mom, Joanne to capture Kristy's senior portraits. I love working with seniors as they have so much fun at our session together and really work hard for great images. Kristy was a blast to hang with. She is bright, funny, and full of life. She will go far in her future. Kristy, thank you for allowing me to capture this great time in your high school career. I know you will go far. Enjoy your senior year, it's one of the best times of your life.
